Safe weather conditions for your butterfly release;

Butterflies should only be released at temperatures of 60 degrees or warmer. They should not be released if it is raining. How much rain is 'raining'? If you would not want to stand in the rain, then the rain is not conductive for a butterfly release. Please check to make sure the weather will be favorable.

Please remember that, in the spring and fall, night time temperatures can still drop below freezing in some areas of the US. Please make sure that it will be favorable for them to survive after they are released. Temperatures near freezing or below freezing at night are not best for butterflies. Temperatures in the low 40’s for night are fine.
